Chalk Line Clamp

I'm for anything that makes my job easier. The chalk line clamp invented by Albert Cruz of Kansas does just that. I've been at this for nearly thirty years, and had accepted the fact that a slipping chalk line was just part of the job.

I may be an old dog, but I have been taught a new trick. If you are tired of slipping chalk lines, waiting on someone to hold the other end, or driving a nail to hook it on. You owe it to yourself to at least visit Albert's website vlineclamp.com and have a look.

The chalk line clamp works on any flat material 1/4" to 7/8" thick. Plans are in the works for a vline clamp that will work on building materials up to 1 1/2".

Types of Materials

I tested the clamp on several different types of material and found it to work amazingly well. The only fault I could find is that I didn't think of it myself.

It works on 3/4" tongue and groove flooring, cement board, OSB, Celotex, virtually any flat material 1/4" to 7/8" thick.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, how much is a video worth?
